Flood in the UK

Wanted to see by yourself what's happening in the UK where the country is flooded?

NoComment News is of service!

Here's one of the stories by NoComment News group contributor:

"Quite the centre of watersports! The street outside my house (the rivers Ouse & Foss are more usually to be found in the top right hand corner of the shot).

Blue Bridge Lane has been flooded for the second time in a week and this time a flotilla of canoes are out in the late evening sunshine".

More pictures are coming ...

6 facts about last week - in pictures!

6 facts about last week (in pictures!):

1) Naked bike protest was held in several cities of the USA, France, UK. The protest was against oil dependancy.

2) Anti G8 demonstrations were held not only in Germany, but in Second Life as well.

3) Great Gorilla Run in San Francisco showed that a few gorillas still live in the world.

4) Rome protested against Bush visit, a week later the city held Gay Pride Parade 2007.

5) By the way, most Gay Pride parades around the world happen in June. This is to oppose to Father's Day with its family values.

6) In the meantime, flickr was blocked in China and censored in Germany and North Korea; Comcast island launched in Second Life; and a woman answered 'Yes, I do' on top of Taipei 101.

Michael Moore's Sicko has been pirated

More detail here: adage.com/article?article_id=117350

Will you watch a pirated copy or wait till June 29th?

Michael Moore - Healthcare protest and Sicko pirated

According to NoComment News Michael Moore, a creator of a documentary about healthcare corruption, took part in the recent protest for Healthcare in Washington.

Do you want to see this movie? Well, according to Advertising Age, Michael Moore's new documentary "Sicko" has been pirated and is now widely available for download on peer-to-peer content sites like www.thepiratebay.org.

However, I would prefer to see it on June 29th, when it's available in theaters.

"Shimon Peres is finally a Winner -- and Israel's President Elect, having won the Knesset vote on June 13 with an overwhelming majority in the second runnoff balloting. The country sighed a sigh of relief on seeing the senior statesman next in line to take over a job tarnished by the incumbant, Moshe Katzav who is currently under criminal investigation. This newspaper clipping in an ice cream store on Emek Refaim Street in Jerusalem pretty much expresses the relief and satisfication with the election of a man who can once again give the Presidency the respect it deserves".

VX553 and colleague interrogate a suspected terrorist

"Quite right too! The guy is obviously an Arab, or a South American or something.
He is carrying a booklet about the democratically elected government of Palestine, Hamas. This proves that he is a terrorist".
